The Au Bon Pain is located next to Neiman Marcus and is directly across the street from the main entrance to the Back Bay T station. This Au Bon Pain offers an expanded dining experience. There are a variety of selections to choose from its hot/cold salad bar, in addition to its standard fare of made-to-order sandwiches, soups and pastries. Look for the yellow devil duckie on the table.

What is Kaleidoscope?

A pansexual, alternative social munch group for people of color started by volunteers of The New England Leather Alliance.

Why Kaleidoscope?

There is a definite lack of people of color represented in the BDSM scene. As we attend events and look around, the faces that we see many times are not representative of the broad spectrum of ethnicities present in the general population. We know we as a people of color are part of the leather lifestyle yet we don't socialize and attend various events except in minute numbers. We are hoping to create a safe, non-judgmental, non-threatening space where people of color can meet each other to socialize and perhaps learn from each other.

Who can attend?

Anyone over the age of 18 can attend. No, you don't have to be a person of color to attend although the munch is directed specifically to people of color. We welcome everyone.

Please read our few rules:

• This group is safe space. By participating you agree to respect each other's personal space and privacy, and to be tolerant of others' differences.
• Do not make assumptions about a person's BDSM identification, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
• Please do feel free to join us if you are new to the scene or just curious.
• This is not a play party. So please do not display or demonstrate toys. Act appropriately for a public space. This is not the time to have your submissive kneel and serve you or be directed to sit on the floor.
• Please do respect the vanilla folks around us.
• Within the limits of Safe, Sane, and Consensual, everyone's kink is ok even if it's not your kink.
• Everyone's opinion is important even if not important to you.
• No trolling. This is public, getting to know you space. Please do not pressure anyone to meet you privately.
• No obvious fetish attire (this includes collars, cuffs, leashes, etc.) but do wear what makes you comfortable.
• No recording devices, cameras, or videos allowed.
